Hotel Choices:
👉 First two nights: Mangrove Tree Coconut Grove Hotel
The parent-child themed room is truly perfect for families with kids! 👶✨
Although it's a bit far to walk to the beach, the indoor pool can be used at Coral Hotel~ If you have a limited budget, I recommend choosing Coconut Grove, it's more cost-effective! 💰
💡Tip: If you want to be closer to the beach, you can stay directly at Coral Hotel~

👉 Next night: Ji Hotel (May Fourth Square Branch)
The location is amazing! Convenient for getting anywhere~
⚠️However, there was renovation during our stay, and the noise was a bit loud... It's recommended to call ahead to confirm the renovation progress! ☎️

🚗 Itinerary & Personal Experience:
Day 1️⃣: Arrival & First Exploration of the Coast
🚄High-speed train to Qingdao North Station, half an hour by taxi to the hotel
Super crowded during peak summer season! Waited an hour for the adjacent room 😅
🌅In the evening, took a taxi to City Balcony, had dinner at "A Basket of Clams":
✔️Steamed Seafood Pot ✔️Seafood Dumplings ✔️Sea Cucumber Rice
(First time trying sea cucumber rice, surprisingly good!)
🏖️After dinner, played on the beach + watched the musical fountain ⛲️

Day 2️⃣: Mangrove Tree Family Day (Summer Heat Escape Guide)
☀️July high temperature warning! We actually scheduled a photoshoot at 10 AM...
📸Mangrove Tree Town photoshoot: feeding pigeons 🐦+ horseback riding 🏇
(Rode once during the day and once at night, the kids were super happy!)
💢Lesson learned: Never schedule photoshoots at noon! Recommend 4-5 PM in the evening!

🔥Too hot in the afternoon? Heading to the hotel's kids' club was a smart move!
🌇At 5 PM, played in the sand and water by the sea (bring your own tools)
Encountered a stunning sunset 🌅 Every casual shot turned out great!

🍢Had dinner at Li Ji BBQ, the street food stall vibe was amazing
A walk back to the hotel was perfect for digestion~ The kids continued to play on the paid amusement rides 🎢

Day 3️⃣: Transfer to City Center & First Sailing Experience
🚗Took a taxi from Mangrove Tree to Ji Hotel in the city center (about 1 hour)
In the afternoon, went to Olympic Sailing Center ⛵️ The sailing experience was fantastic!
(If you get seasick, it's recommended to sit on the deck and enjoy the sea breeze 🌊)

🥟Had dinner at the popular "Shuangheyuan" Dumpling Restaurant (long queue)
(Waited 1 hour+, a bit tired of seafood after several days)
🌃After dinner, strolled around May Fourth Square to watch the light show
🍺Along the way, there were many lively draft beer stalls!

⚠️Important reminder: Qingdao strictly enforces overloading!
🚕Taxis are limited to 3 passengers (including children), families with kids, please note!

Day 4️⃣: High Views & Hasty Return
☀️Bravely ventured to Signal Hill Park at noon (the slope is actually very gentle)
The view from the top is amazing! You can overlook the entire Qingdao 🏙️
Had lunch at "Kai Hai", still had to queue...
(The taste was good but a bit pricey 💸)

Originally planned to go to Polar Ocean World/Naval Museum
⚠️During peak season, remember to book 7 days in advance!
Had to change our flight and return early 😭
