Coming to Qingdao? Badaguan is an absolute must-visit! Known as the “Exhibition Hall of Architecture from Ten Thousand Nations”, this area is filled with red-tiled roofs, green trees, and vast ocean views. Every corner looks like a movie scene.

**🏰 Princess House (公主楼)**

- 📍 10 Juyongguan Road
- A fairy-tale style Danish villa with blue-green exterior walls and red roofs — super photogenic.
- Tip: For fewer people, go around to the small side garden. The wooden windows + blue walls = dream photo backdrop. Or pay the entrance fees to go inside. There’s way fewer people inside the compound.

**🪨 Huashi House (花石楼)**

- 📍 18 Huanghaise Road
- A mix of various Western architectural styles built from granite and cobblestone.
- Ticket: 8.5 RMB – great value!
- The rooftop terrace offers panoramic sea views and stunning shots of the Second Bathing Beach.

**🦋 Butterfly House (蝴蝶楼)**

- 📍 21 Shanhaiguan Road
- Famous filming location of the movie Peach Blossom After the War (劫后桃花) starring Hu Die.
- The building blends Chinese and Western elements — highly distinctive.

**🌳 Linhuaiguan Road (临淮关路)**

- A lush green street lined with old pine trees — perfect for romantic movie-style shots.

🏡The green spaces within the scenic zones. They are shady with lots of benches - perfect when you need to rest your legs or recharge with snacks.

**🚇 Transportation Tips**

🚉 Metro: Take Metro Line 3 to Zhongshan Park Station or Taipingjiao Park Station

- From Zhongshan Park C Exit: walk 10 minutes along Wenping Road to the core area
- Or take a taxi directly to Huashi House Ticket Office or Badaguan Scenic Area

🎫 Tickets: The Badaguan Scenic Area itself is free
But interiors of certain buildings require tickets:
- Princess House: 20 RMB
- Huashi House: 8.5 RMB
- Butterfly House: 20 RMB
- Combo Ticket: 50 RMB (includes Princess House + Butterfly House + Spanish House right opposite the Princess House. Huashi House not included)

⚠️ Tips to Avoid Pitfalls

- Many historic villas are private residences. If there’s a sign saying “No Entry,” please do not force entry or take photos.
- Restaurants inside the scenic area can be pricey. 💡 Bring your own snacks and water.
