If there’s one building in Badaguan Scenic Area (八大关风景区) that truly captures the European charm of old Qingdao, it’s Huashilou (花石楼).
📍 Located at 18 Huanghai Road (黄海路18号), this stone castle was built between 1930–1932, blending Gothic, Romanesque, and Greek styles in perfect harmony.
The tower, domes, and arches make every angle photo-worthy — no wonder it’s often called “the crown jewel of Badaguan.”
🎟 Entrance: ¥8.5
🕒 Hours: 8:30–17:00
🚇 Access: Metro Line 3 → Taipingjiao Park Station (太平角公园站) Exit B, walk 10 min.
💡 Tip: Visit in the late afternoon — sunlight hits the granite walls beautifully, making the pinkish stone glow against the blue sky.
