The dawn and dusk of Jiaguan Town healed the wrinkles of my life

In a suffocating moment within the cubicle walls, I suddenly longed for a place to hide.
The navigation finally stopped at a homestay in Jiaguan Town, which I thought would just be a pit stop,
but unexpectedly, it became a temporary haven where I bid farewell to the world.

🏡 Stepping inside felt like entering fragmented time
Winding up the mountain road, the homestay with its blue-tiled rammed-earth walls resembled a faded old painting.
The still pool in the lobby cradled swaying clouds and flower branches; when the breeze passed, ripples trembled lightly.
For a moment, I couldn’t tell whether the water had shattered time or time had shattered my reflection.
Running my fingers over the grain of the solid wood furniture, rough yet warm, it felt just like my grandfather’s calloused hands from memory.

🛏 The room was a soft cloud, catching my fall
The window of the private terrace hot spring room framed an entire tea garden.
During the day, sunlight wove golden nets on the bedding through the wooden lattice.
Lying on the Marriott-grade mattress, all my exhaustion was gently cradled.
The faint gardenia scent of RoomPlus bath products in the steam-filled bathroom
felt like a meticulous cleansing of the soul.
At nightfall, soaking in the warm pool, watching stars flicker among the tea fields,
my eyes suddenly welled up—I realized I, too, deserved such tender care.

🌿 Every corner of the homestay flowed with stories
The spiral staircase was a natural picture frame, with sunlight painting on the steps.
The vintage wooden tables and chairs stood silently, bearing the whispers of countless strangers.
Sharing a pot of dark tea with fellow travelers, listening to their tales of distant mountains and regrets,
we were like dandelions meeting by chance, briefly nestling before scattering in the wind,
yet leaving warm fragments in each other’s memories.

🍃 When leaving, I lost track of time’s measure
Those moments of waking at dawn and losing myself in twilight had already solidified into eternal amber in my heart.
Some places, once visited, no longer belong to you—they become the soul’s everlasting nostalgia.
