Wu Jingzi's Former Residence in Quanjiao

Wu Jingzi's Former Residence was built around 1668 by Wu Jingzi's great-grandfather, Wu Guodui (Tanhua during the reign of Emperor Shunzhi of the Qing Dynasty). It was originally named "Tanhua Mansion" and later renamed "Yiyuan" (meaning "remaining independent from the world"). Wu Jingzi spent his youth here.
It was destroyed during the Taiping Rebellion and has now been rebuilt on its original site. It officially opened in 2015.

Wu Jingzi's Former Residence is located across the river from the Wu Jingzi Memorial Hall, on the opposite side of Taiping Ancient City.

The courtyard is deep, but there is plenty of shade. You can take your time to visit and learn about the history and culture [Grin]
