glacial lake

#hellohalloween

Lake Sorapis (Lago di Sorapis) is a glacial lake located in the Dolomites in northeastern Italy, famous for its intense, milky turquoise water. Situated at an altitude of 1,925 meters, it is nestled within the Sorapiss mountain range and overlooked by the distinctive peak known as "Dito di Dio," or "Finger of God". The vibrant color comes from fine rock particles, or "glacial flour," carried into the lake by meltwater.
