Top historical visits

This area is insanely large, it takes a few hours to really see everything (not including the Colosseum). The whole area isn’t very visually stunning, but some awesome history and interpretation as to how things were. The archaeological site is one that you need to spend time exploring every corner of it.

Do purchase tickets beforehand as that it will save you time. The view of the Colosseum from there is simply breathtaking. The staff is not very friendly but ignore them, being there is worth it. It's not a good place to visit with kids, strollers, or a wheelchair.
