Wat Phra That Choeng Chum Worawihan

is a significant and revered religious site in Sakon Nakhon. The Phra That Choeng Chum stupa is a brick and plaster structure, towering with a golden spire. 🙏🏻 It was built to enshrine the footprints of four Buddhas. Inside the vihara, you will find the beautiful Luang Pho Phra Ong Saen Buddha image in the Maravijaya posture, along with a large rice lump (believed to be leftover rice from the Buddha's alms bowl) located next to the Buddha image. Visitors can enter to pay their respects. The temple grounds are spacious with parking available. It is recommended to bring an umbrella as the sun can be quite strong. ✌🏼
