🇺🇿✨ Registan Square – The Heart of Samarkand, Breathtakingly Beautiful
If Uzbekistan were the Silk Road, Registan Square is where it shines brightest. 💫 The central plaza of Samarkand is surrounded by three medrasas (Islamic religious schools), a stunning Islamic-Persian architectural masterpiece.
📸 Must-see check-ins:
• Ulugh Beg Madrasah – With its blue and gold tile patterns, it's a tranquil sight when photographed against the morning light.
• Sher-Dor Madrasah – With a pair of tigers in the center of the dome, it's iconic when photographed from the front.
• Tilya-Kori Madrasah – The interior is adorned with pure gold. Taking photos in the main temple is spectacular.
• Central corner of the Registan Square – Capture a panoramic shot of the three medras symmetrically arranged.
• Nighttime photography – Decorative lights illuminate the medras, creating a dreamlike atmosphere.
