As I walked along the hillside streets of Oia, the scenery changed with each passing moment. The sunlight filtering through the white buildings, the cobalt blue sea, and the bougainvillea swaying in the breeze—everything was picture-perfect. Sitting in a cafe at the end of an alley, sipping an espresso and gazing out at the sea was the most relaxing moment of my trip.
In the afternoon, I headed to Red Beach. True to its name, the beach, surrounded by red cliffs, exuded a powerful sense of nature. Each time the wind blew and the waves crashed, hues of red and blue blended, creating a mystical scene. As the sun slowly began to set, the cliffs intensified, and the golden sunlight bid its final farewell.
On the way back, lights began to come on one by one in the streets of Oia, creating a romantic atmosphere unlike any daytime. Even after the sunset had completely faded, the sky was tinged with purple, reminding me once again how beautiful the end of a day can be.
