Hokkaido University, a vast and lush campus in the center of Sapporo

On both sides of Kita 13-jo Street on the Hokkaido University campus, there are 70 ginkgo trees lined up, stretching for about 380 meters from east to west.

They are lush and beautiful at this time of year.

The ginkgo arch shines golden in late October to early November, which is the best time to see them every year.
I would also like to see a carpet of ginkgo trees covered with fallen leaves someday.

Based on Dr. Clark's large-scale farming vision, wooden livestock barns and other buildings built in the Meiji era are open to the public.

The interiors of some of the buildings are open to the public, and you can view a variety of exhibits, including farm tools from the Hokkaido development era, for free.

Admission is free.

It was close to the inn, but I was out walking early in the morning so I couldn't get in.
Photo taken from outside.
