My dears, when you come to Sapporo, Hokkaido, you must not miss the cherry blossom season in Nakajima Park!
Located in the center of Sapporo, Nakajima Park covers an area of 21 hectares and is a natural oasis in the bustling city. There are about 400 cherry trees planted in the park, with rich varieties including Oyama cherry, Somei Yoshino cherry, and Yaezakura. The most beautiful season here is from the end of April to the beginning of May every year.
Walking in the park, the pink cherry blossoms are like clouds and rosy clouds, contrasting with the blue sky. The petals fell with the wind, sprinkling on the riverside and the grass, as if covering the earth with a soft pink blanket. There are about 180 Chishima cherry trees planted on both sides of the stream in the Cold Region Civil Engineering Research Institute, which is one of the rare Chishima cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan.
In the park, you can not only enjoy cherry blossoms, but also take a leisurely stroll along the lake, or relax on the grass and feel the comfort of spring. The Fengping Pavilion next to it also has a unique historical charm and is worth a visit. When the night breeze blows gently and the lights gradually light up, the night cherry blossoms add a bit of romance.
Come to Nakajima Park for a romantic date with cherry blossoms and experience the splendor of Hokkaido's spring 💕#札幌樱花
