💞Reasons for recommendation: This is my first visit in over a decade since the Great East Japan Earthquake.
I thought I understood the dangers of tsunamis from YouTube, but coming here has given me even more insight.
I was able to see and feel the reconstruction of the cityscape and measures against tsunamis.
I'm glad I came.
I also understood the importance of passing on the sad events that occurred here.
You can see inside the elementary school up to the rooftop.
There are messages left on the blackboard, past scenes, minute-by-minute records of the situation (actions) at the time, and video messages, which were very thought-provoking.
