🥟Bite-Sized Bliss: Authentic Local Flavors at the Original Sendai Bite-sized Gyoza Azuma Nakakecho Branch

While strolling through the streets, our family stumbled upon 元祖仙台ひとくち餃子あずま名掛丁店 and decided to pop in for dinner — a great spontaneous choice!

The shop was bustling with locals, but we were quickly seated at the counter, which gave us a front-row view of the kitchen action. The menu caught my eye with some unique offerings; I tried the beef liver gyoza, something rarely eaten back home. To my surprise, it had a pleasant texture and no gamey taste at all, which I really appreciated. The generous serving of crunchy bean sprouts complemented the dish nicely.

The gyozas themselves were served in convenient bite-sized portions, making them easy and fun to eat. The overall experience was authentic, local, and offered very good value for money. Judging by the crowd of Japanese patrons, this place is clearly a favorite among locals—a strong recommendation for anyone wanting a true taste of Sendai’s food scene.
