📍Seongsan Sunrise Peak
1, Seongsan-ri, Seongsan-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province
(Admission fee: 2,000 won for adults / Free parking / Pets not allowed)

If you are planning a trip to the eastern part of Jeju,
be sure to visit ‘Seongsan Sunrise Peak’, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site and Jeju’s representative attraction.
Formed about 5,000 years ago when lava erupted into the sea,
this place is a place where magnificent crater terrain and coastal scenery come together.

There are free and paid trails at the entrance.
If you want to climb to the top, you can take the paid course.

If you want to enjoy nature lightly,
the free walking trail is also attractive enough.

If you walk along the walking trail, you can see the vast Jeju sea and
the steep cliffs.
From the observatory, you can see Udo Island at a glance.
You can also use the telescope for free, so it’s great for enjoying the refreshing view.

There are stairs leading to the ‘Haenyeo’s House’ in the middle of the road. There
You can also enjoy seafood caught by Jeju female divers
(If you have time, be sure to stop by)

Seongsan Sunrise Peak is much more magnificent in person than in the photos,
so it is a Jeju travel course that you must climb at least once
