Jeongbang Waterfall

Jeongbang Waterfall is one of the three major waterfalls in Jeju Island, located in Seogwipo City, Jeju. It is renowned as the only coastal waterfall in East Asia that directly falls into the sea. The water cascades from a height of approximately 23 meters, creating a refreshing and majestic sight, especially after a rainy day when the water flow becomes even more powerful.

Behind the waterfall, there is a hidden cave-like space that serves as a popular photo spot. There is an entrance fee, and visitors can descend the stairs to a designated area where they can sit on the rocks and enjoy the waterfall up close. The unique terrain where the sea meets the waterfall adds to its special charm, offering a vibrant natural experience that cannot be felt in urban settings.

Nearby attractions include Cheonjiyeon Waterfall and Cheonjeyeon Waterfall, which are close enough to explore together, allowing visitors to fully enjoy Jeju's natural beauty. Particularly during summer, the sound of the cool water makes it an ideal spot to beat the heat.
