🌊 Western Jeju Day Trip: Nature, Culture & Matcha ☁️

If you’re exploring the west side of Jeju, here’s the perfect little itinerary full of epic views, culture, and green tea dreams:

🪨 Yongmeori Coast – Rugged volcanic cliffs, crashing waves, and dramatic rock formations. Easy to reach by bus and absolutely worth it for photos and peaceful ocean views. Wear good shoes—it gets slippery!

🧘♂️ Sanbangsa Temple – Just above Yongmeori is this beautiful temple built into the mountain. Don’t miss the Yaksa-Yeore (Medicine Buddha) statue with Buddha’s brain relic sealed inside. Spiritual and serene.

🍵 Osulloc Tea Museum – Come for the matcha, stay for the views. Their garden café is a dream, and the matcha desserts are top-tier—but it gets crowded, so go early or be ready to wait.

🌴 Hyeopjae Beach – Calm, super shallow water (great for families), but it’s packed with kids in summer. No waves, just soft sand and beautiful turquoise water. Note: cafes close early, so don’t save your coffee run for sunset!

Jeju’s west coast is the perfect mix of dramatic nature and soft green tea vibes 💚
