Guangren Temple, also called Guangren Lama Temple, was built in 1705 by the Kangxi Emperor. It is the only Tibetan Buddhist temple in Shaanxi Province and was also the residence of Lamas when they traveled through Shaanxi Province to Beijing to meet the emperor. Inside, there are many sacred objects and rare relics, such as the 9.7 meter high Thousand Armed Guanyin sitting on a lotus pedestal. The temple has a long history and beautiful Chinese art and culture.
