First time stepping into Me’nate Steakhouse at Shah Alam, I was met with an atmosphere that takes steak seriously—with just enough laid-back charm to keep things inviting. For any true steak lover, this place is a treasure trove. The highlight? A dedicated corner showcasing a display of fresh, frozen lamb and wagyu cuts. Customers can handpick their desired cut, and the chefs work their magic based on your preferred doneness.
I went for the lamb chop—well done—and a classic glass of lemonade. The plating was attractive, setting the tone before the first bite. The lamb had a satisfying juiciness despite being cooked through, proving that well-done doesn’t have to mean dry. You also get to choose your own sauce, and with options like garlic, BBQ, and mushroom, there’s something for every palate.
While chicken is selected off the menu, it’s the steak section that offers that extra thrill of choice and freshness. Me’nate bridges premium quality with casual dining, making it approachable yet indulgent.
Definitely a place I’d return to when that carnivorous craving strikes.
