I would like to recommend a family-friendly tourist attraction: the Shanghai Natural History Museum. It is one of the largest and most modern natural history museums in China. It was first opened in 1956 and renovated in 2015. Located in Jing'an, the museum has a collection of more than 280,000 items, including animal specimens, plants, fossils, and minerals. The highlight is the skeleton of a Mamenchisaurus hochuanensis from Sichuan Province, which is as high as a four-story building.
The museum is divided into several zones, such as the "River of Life", which presents the evolution of living things. And the zone that simulates the ecosystem in the African grassland
- Opening hours: Open every Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00-17:00 (closed every Monday)
- Admission fee: 30 yuan (about 150 baht)
Getting there: You can take the subway line 13 and get off at Shanghai Natural History Museum Station
Exit 1
In conclusion, this museum is suitable for all ages, especially families with children, as the exhibits are interesting and educational. If you have the chance to visit Shanghai, the Shanghai Natural History Museum is a place you shouldn't miss.
