Shanghai Doraemon Exhibition / Is it really worth seeing?

The hottest event in Shanghai this April has to be the Doraemon exhibition!
Last month's one-day flash event placed all the Doraemon figures along an internal road, which definitely caught a lot of attention. I happened to be nearby and went to check it out.

Next up is the exhibition that friends nationwide are eagerly anticipating.

📆 Exhibition period: March 29 to May 5

I passed by last night to take a look—wow, so many people in line...
Everyone queued outside in the cold wind for the paid exhibition area,
and inside, when buying merchandise, the security guard said the wait was over 2 hours.
It’s said that during the day, the queue starts at 3 hours!

I didn’t buy a ticket; all my photos were taken in the free area.
The free area is spread across the indoor and outdoor parts of Kerry Center Mall.
You can see everything by walking around outside, so I recommend coming during the day.

I have to say, Doraemon is really adorable.
Since it’s a popular period now, if you don’t want to queue and aren’t in a hurry,
it’s quite nice to just visit the free area without buying a ticket.
For those wanting to buy merchandise, I suggest coming on weekdays during non-peak hours, either early or late.

One more complaint—the merchandise is really expensive
