Shanghai Bund Sawah Hotel
Excellent location 📍
I just got back from Shanghai, and the hotel I stayed at this time really amazed me! The Shanghai Bund Sawah Hotel is right in the heart of the Bund, with all kinds of delicious food and fun activities just outside the door, and plenty of nearby attractions. Places like Waibaidu Bridge and the Shanghai Postal Museum are just a short stroll away. After sightseeing, you can take a leisurely ride along the Bund, feel the river breeze, and enjoy the night view—it’s incredibly relaxing!
Check-in experience, full of thoughtful details 💕
The moment I entered the hotel, the lobby’s decor caught my eye—simple yet luxurious, without any flashy elements, making it very comfortable. The front desk staff was super friendly and handled check-in very quickly. They even proactively asked if I had any special requests. When I was dragging my suitcase, he immediately helped push it to the elevator and chatted with me about great spots around the hotel along the way, which felt very considerate.
Fitness facilities, super satisfying 💪
The hotel’s fitness facilities really surprised me! The gym is fully equipped with treadmills, ellipticals, dumbbells—you name it—and the environment is very clean. I always felt great after working out. What impressed me the most was the hotel’s heated swimming pool; the water temperature was just right, and the poolside environment was very quiet. I swam a few laps every morning, which made me feel energized all day. Plus, the hotel provides bathrobes and slippers, showing great attention to detail.
Those unforgettable little touches 👀
One night I came back late and was a bit hungry, so I called the front desk to ask if there was anything to eat. To my surprise, they quickly delivered a late-night snack—a bowl of hot soup that warmed both my stomach and heart. Another time, I forgot my charger, and the front desk lent me one without hesitation, telling me to reach out anytime if I had other needs. It really felt like being at home, well taken care of.
Other tips 📝
The hotel breakfast is also very good, with a wide variety including Chinese congee and soup dumplings, as well as Western bread and milk. Every morning I could eat my fill before heading out to explore. The transportation around the hotel is very convenient, with the subway nearby, making it easy to get anywhere. If you’re visiting Shanghai, you should definitely consider staying at this hotel. Trust me, you’ll love it!
