This trip takes you on a relaxed tour of Shanghai but with plenty of photos to bring home! Starting on a clear morning, we left the hotel heading to the city’s most iconic photo spot — the Oriental Pearl Tower.
📸 Our favorite photo spot is on the opposite side of the Huangpu River at The Bund, where you can see the Oriental Pearl Tower in full frame surrounded by modern buildings. The shot is both futuristic and romantic at the same time. Honestly, no filter needed to make it stunning.
Next, we took a ride to Wukang Mansion, a classic curved building nicknamed the “Flatiron of Shanghai.” It’s a French-era building that still carries a full European vibe. Around the building are small vintage-style cafes, and every angle looks like a model walking in Paris.
🌆 We ended the day with an evening stroll back at The Bund, the riverside street lined with Art Deco and old European-style buildings. The atmosphere was amazing! The sun was setting, and the evening light hit the Pudong side buildings, creating a view that was both beautiful and romantic.
⛴️ There are river cruise boats to choose from if you want to see the night lights. Highly recommended because the buildings around the Oriental Pearl Tower light up spectacularly all along the river.
