The Venice of Shanghai: A Classic Water Town Experience

#shanghai, the Venice of China, is located in a town called Zhujiajiao, about an hour's drive from Shanghai. The easiest way to get there is by metro line 17.
Here you'll find small, colorful houses and many bridges. Canals and boats are available for rides. It's a small, cozy town where you can spend the whole day.
I recommend strolling the streets and popping into the shops; you can find unique handcrafted goods. We found a beautiful silk suit and bought it.
Also, don't be lazy; find a cafe with the best views. It took us 40 minutes to find the perfect spot where we felt zen. The tea ceremony was wonderful.
In conclusion, I want to say that we really enjoyed our trip to Zhujiajiao and spent the whole day there until dark. After sunset, the tourists dwindle, and the city is beautifully illuminated. #Zhujiajiao
