Viewing Pink Muhly Grass in Binjiang Forest Park in Autumn, Lazy Efficient Version

October and November are the best months to enjoy the pink muhly grass. If you want to check in at this mountain full of pink romance, the free Binjiang Forest Park can make it happen!

However, Binjiang Forest Park is very large. When I first arrived, I was worried about walking too much and even considered renting a bike. After some exploration, I found the least tiring route that covers all the highlights, perfect for lazy people like me, as follows:

Navigate to [Binjiang Forest Park Phase II East Gate] and start from here! PS: If you drive, there is a Zone C parking lot next to the East Gate, 5 yuan/hour, capped at 20 yuan.

After entering the East Gate, navigate to [Xiangjing Trail], about 800-900 meters. This is the entire pink muhly grass hillside, where you can enjoy it all at once, perfect for panoramic and close-up shots.

Then navigate to [Linxi Road], which you can reach by crossing a bridge 500 meters along Xiangjing Trail. On Linxi Road, you can see the other side of the pink muhly hillside and check in at the popular small wooden house viewpoint (Photo 1).

Finally, from Linxi Road, take another bridge back to [Piying Road], enjoy various small flowers along the way, and return to the [East Gate].

✅This route is about 2 km in total. Walking and stopping along the way won’t feel tiring, and it covers all the essential views of the pink muhly grass. Including time for photos, it took me just over an hour to complete! 🗺 The last picture shows the route map.
