Rong Residence

Located at 186 Shaanxi North Road, Rong Residence is a top-tier mansion from the Mingguo period, regarded as the most elegant garden villa in Shanghai.
This house was built between 1899 and 1910. The original owner was a German, but he returned to his country shortly after the villa was completed. In 1918, it was purchased by Rong Zongjing, known as the "Flour King" and "Cotton Yarn King."
In 2011, Prada acquired a 20-year usage right for this building and spent six years restoring it. Afterwards, Rong Residence was officially opened to the public.

Hanging on the restaurant wall is a large woodblock waterprint titled "Qingyun" from the series "Clouds Rise and Flowers Bloom," curated by Wong Kar-wai and produced by Duoyunxuan.
