Conrad Shanghai

Before my trip to Shanghai, choosing a place to stay was a major concern for me.
"Is there a hotel with a great view, a good location, and not too expensive?"
I ended up choosing the Conrad Shanghai, and it was truly the best choice of my trip.
First of all, the price was reasonable.
Even though it's a 5-star hotel, I was able to book it for around 200,000-300,000 won, including breakfast.
In downtown Shanghai, hotels of this level cost around 500,000 won.
The facilities, view, and service were all perfect for the price.
And the location was fantastic.
It was just a 5-minute walk to East Nanjing Road, so I could go shopping or sightseeing right after my stay at the hotel.
If I was tired after a long day of exploring, it was perfect to return to the hotel for a quick rest,
and then head out to explore the night market. 🛍️
The interior of the hotel, as expected from the Conrad chain, has a luxurious and sophisticated atmosphere.
It had none of the typical Chinese old-world feel, and the newly renovated interior had a clean, modern feel. From the lobby to the room, the scent was so wonderful, and it was a healing experience from the moment I stepped inside.
Even inside the room, it felt like a true staycation!
The table next to the large window was perfect for a quick late-night snack while enjoying the night view.
The Shinsegae Department Store (Jeil Department Store) is right across the street,
so the view of Shanghai at night was truly spectacular. 🌃
Having a beer while watching the lights twinkle on the streets every night was the perfect way to enjoy my Shanghai trip.
Conrad Shanghai wasn't just a hotel to sleep in,
it felt like a part of the trip.
I'd definitely stay here again if I ever visit Shanghai again. 💯
