I finally found a super cool hotel in Shantou

A must-stay for Shantou travel! The Sheraton Hotel offers an amazing experience.

I recently traveled to Chaozhou and Shantou, and after switching from the Guoxia Marriott to the Sheraton Shantou Hotel, my stay was so great that I had to share it with everyone!

📍Location and surroundings

The hotel is located in a prime location in the center of Shantou, close to the Changping Road shopping district, with complete surrounding facilities. It is a short walk to government offices and the convention center, and is adjacent to the People's Square and Times Square green belts. The location is excellent, making it easy to get to various attractions and business districts, which greatly saves travel time. Moreover, it is within walking distance of the MixC shopping district and close to Longyan South Road, making it easy to start a shopping and eating spree, which is very tourist-friendly.

🛌Amenities/Facilities

1. Room facilities: The hotel has 329 rooms (including 23 suites), decorated in Chaozhou style, with comfortable and pleasant furniture. The rooms are equipped with high-speed Internet access and a 42-inch flat-screen TV for easy communication with the outside world. It also offers a signature Sheraton sleep experience and rainforest shower, as well as exquisite bathroom amenities for an amazing experience. This time, I was directly assigned to the top floor suite, which is decorated in a classic American retro style, with exquisite details such as carvings and lines, creating a full atmosphere, which is especially suitable for taking pictures. The space is spacious, so there is no cramped feeling at all. The bedding is exquisite, the embroidery is delicate, and the touch is soft, making people not want to get out of bed once they fall asleep.
2. Leisure facilities: There is an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, and a spa center, with complete facilities, so you can exercise and relax at any time in the hotel.
3. Dining facilities: There is an all-day Western restaurant serving fresh and colorful cuisine and a specialty Chinese restaurant specializing in traditional Cantonese cuisine and local delicacies, so you can taste the specialties of different regions without having to go out.

🧹Soundproofing/Hygiene

The soundproofing is good, so you can enjoy a quiet rest environment in the room without outside interference. The hygiene is also excellent, the rooms are clean and tidy, and there are no odors in the bathroom and other areas.

The room layout is reasonable, and the suite's space planning is very grand, with clear divisions of various functional areas and ample activity space. Whether it is for rest, entertainment, or office work, you can have a comfortable experience.

💗Other tips

1. I was directly assigned to the top floor suite without any prior arrangement. The hotel is very generous with room upgrades, and my impression of it instantly improved.
2. The welcome gift was refreshing licorice fruit placed in the refrigerator, which was sweet, juicy, and especially heartwarming.
3. A Shantou food, drink, and entertainment guide was also thoughtfully presented upon check-in, which is very tourist-friendly and makes it easy to plan your itinerary.
4. The hotel service quality is high, and I felt very worry-free during my stay.
