Mao Zedong Memorial Museum in Shaoshan, Hunan

The Mao Zedong Memorial Museum in Shaoshan is the only memorial museum in China that systematically showcases Chairman Mao Zedong's life, thoughts, and character. It is a National Outstanding Patriotic Education Demonstration Base, National Integrity Education Base, and a National First-Class Museum. It also serves as an influential research center and base for studying Mao Zedong's life and thoughts. The museum's main exhibition "China Produced a Mao Zedong" scientifically, accurately, and vividly reflects Comrade Mao Zedong's historical position, great achievements, and noble character in the Chinese revolution and socialist construction, winning the 11th National Museum Top Ten Exhibition Excellence Award. The special exhibition "Enduring Character—Chairman Mao's Cultural Relics Exhibition" won the National Museum Top Ten Exhibition Special Excellence Award.
