Upon entering Black Dragon Pond, I was captivated by the profound, emerald waters. Mountains frame the pond like a screen, streams and waterfalls cascade into it, the water a deep blue like the night sky. The morning mist shrouds the distant mountains, looming in the distance. Ancient pines and cypresses are reflected on the surface of the pond, creating a scene reminiscent of a splashed-ink landscape painting. Walking slowly along the stone steps, only the chirping of birds and the rustling of water fill my ears, as if time has slowed down.
Legend has it that a black dragon once dwelt here, protecting the region from harm. Standing by the pond, feeling the gentle breeze of the water vapor, an ancient story quietly flowed through my mind. The moment sunlight pierced the clouds, the water shimmered with golden light, as if the legendary dragon's shadow were passing by. Black Dragon Pond is not only a natural wonder, but also a spiritual place where imagination and faith reside, a place that invites one to linger.
