Autumn is a must-visit season for Shennongjia! The scenery with layers of colorful forests is breathtaking, and every snapshot looks like a masterpiece 🍁 Here is a comprehensive 3-day 2-night guide for you!

Day 1: Immersive Autumn Viewing
📍 Shennongding Scenic Area (opens at 8 AM)
Standing at 3,106 meters above sea level on the "Ridge of Central China," the combination of sea of clouds and colorful forests is stunning! It’s recommended to wear a windproof jacket as the wind on the summit is strong. On the way down, you will pass Jinhouling, where you might be lucky enough to see wild golden snub-nosed monkeys~

Day 2: Natural Oxygen Bar Hiking
📍 Dajiuhu Wetland Park (open until 5:30 PM)
The 79-square-kilometer alpine wetland looks like a spilled palette of colors. The reed marsh of Lake No. 2 and the morning mist of Lake No. 5 are must-visit spots! Remember to take the scenic train (included in the ticket), walking on foot might make you question your life choices. For lunch, enjoy cured pork rib hotpot in Pingqian Ancient Town, the aroma is intoxicating!

Day 3: Geological Wonders Exploration
📍 Tienshengqiao + Guanmenshan (last entry at 4 PM)
The hundred-meter waterfall at Tienshengqiao is spectacular, and Guanmenshan offers views of Chinese giant salamanders and Wild Man Cave. Highly recommended for families with kids as it’s very interactive~ Before heading back, don’t miss the hanging pot feast in Muyuzhen, the Tujia flavor is irresistibly delicious!

• Cured pig’s trotters hotpot (recommended at Laodifang Restaurant)
• Rock ear mushroom stewed with native chicken (many restaurants along the riverside road in Muyuzhen)

⚠️ Notes:
1. Large temperature difference! Wear a single layer and a light jacket during the day, and a down jacket in the early morning and evening.
2. The 299 RMB combo ticket is valid for 5 days and includes 6 major core scenic spots.
3. For self-driving, navigate to "Shennongjia Visitor Center"; sightseeing buses are required inside the park.
4. The best viewing period is from mid-October to early November; miss it and wait a whole year!
