The Underrated Fuling Tomb

Most tourists visiting Shenyang will visit the Zhao Mausoleum (Beiling Park) and skip the Fuling Tomb. I was a little hesitant to go, worried it would be too similar, but after visiting, I felt that the Fuling Tomb is truly underrated.

The Fuling Tomb is the mausoleum of Nurhaci, the founder of the Qing Dynasty, and his empress, Yehenara. Located in the eastern suburbs of Shenyang, it has a more serene environment and many intricate carvings, quite different from the Zhao Mausoleum. Fans of ancient architecture will definitely appreciate this place.
