The items in this exhibition represent the change in culture across Asia. The expanse of Buddhist thought and theory brought new innovation to cultural communities. It’s evident the sculpture form was a big part of the changes made. The Buddhist carvings represent the theory of prosperity. As this value grew the influence through art and philosophy also grew bigger.

Many carvings depict figures in seated postures. The flowers from their hands representing the heavenly status of mind - pure.
