| Exploring MUJI. I've always had a good impression of the MUJI brand, and this time staying at their Shenzhen hotel, the moment I stepped into the lobby, the warm wooden tones and cozy desk lamps instantly eased my inexplicable fatigue, giving me a sense of relaxation as if returning home.
Entering the room, I found a book on the desk about MUJI's brand story. The first sentence struck a chord: "Not luxurious, not shabby." This perfectly aligns with the lifestyle I admire and embrace.
I believe MUJI's original intention in opening a hotel must be to allow guests to personally experience all the products designed and created under its brand. Everything in the room—from furniture like bedding, sofa cushions, and towels to toiletries, appliances like humidifiers, kettles, and alarm clocks, and even drinks and snacks—can be purchased at MUJI stores. It's a deeply immersive marketing experience. 😊
Nowadays, travel has become increasingly routine and self-directed. Here, there's no overwhelming luxury or excessive service. The room design is simple yet full of charm.
A CD player hangs on the wall 📷, and turning on the music feels like entering a meditative world. To ensure a comfortable sleep after a long journey, the hotel provides essential oil aromatherapy with options like lavender and sweet orange. I personally love the sweet orange scent and use the same one at home. 🌱
Having stayed in many city hotels, I find MUJI's skin-friendly amenities particularly thoughtful, offering a homely texture. The mattress firmness and pillow height are just right, and falling asleep to the soothing essential oils truly provides travelers with a comfortable space to relax and rejuvenate. The towels are gentle, and the smart toilet is convenient. Even if you're not staying, the ¥60-per-person buffet breakfast seems quite reasonable.
