Shenzhen's First Azabuya Ice Cream Shop!

Shenzhen's first Azabuya ice cream shop has opened! A must-visit for ice cream lovers!

A new ice cream shop, Azabuya, has opened in Shenzhen's Coco Park. This is their first store in Shenzhen. Besides their signature gelato, they also offer Basque cheesecake, vanilla canelé, and coffee.

The shop features three types of green tea-flavored ice cream, as well as other unique flavors like white tea, roasted tea, Shodoshima Marushima soy sauce, and pistachio. You can even sample the flavors before purchasing. The higher the matcha number, the more bitter and rich the taste.

I ended up choosing matcha, black sesame, and grapefruit lychee sea salt. Each flavor has its own unique charm. The matcha is rich and aromatic, the black sesame has a nice crunch, and my personal favorite is the grapefruit lychee sea salt—it has a delightful lychee aroma combined with the sweet and tangy taste of grapefruit. It's truly special and not overly sweet or heavy.
