🇯🇵 🏂 My First Snowboarding Experience at Tomamu

Tried Snowboarding at Tomamu – 10/10 Would Wipe Out Again!

I went snowboarding for the first time at Hoshino Resorts TOMAMU in Hokkaido, and wow — I totally get the hype now! I didn’t hire an instructor because my friend taught me (shoutout to my patient buddy), but honestly? If it’s your first time, I’d 100% recommend getting a proper instructor. It’ll save you from a few epic faceplants — and a sore butt the next day!

- Easiest option? Rent a car! The drive takes about 2.5 to 3 hours, super scenic and chill if you’re traveling with friends.

🏂 Final thought: Even though I was falling more than I was gliding, I had the time of my life. The slopes, the views, the vibe — perfect place for first-timers or anyone looking for winter fun. So rent that board, book that lesson, and go shred (or fall, but make it fun)!
