Senjojiki offers a magnificent view that is truly breathtaking. The name "Senjojiki" is said to come from the vast rock formation that looks as if a thousand tatami mats could be laid upon it. This unique terrain was formed by sandstone deposited approximately 18 to 15 million years ago, which has been eroded by waves over countless years.
The contrast between the white rocks and the splashing waves creates a stunning and dynamic visual experience. Standing here, you can feel the mystery and power of nature up close.
Additionally, the sunset over the horizon as seen from Senjojiki is absolutely spectacular. Known for its beautiful sunsets, it has become a popular tourist spot. Unfortunately, I couldn't catch the sunset this time due to timing.
There are also restaurants and souvenir shops nearby✨
