Huai Mae Khamin Waterfall
“A beautiful gem in the middle of the Srinakarin Dam forest”
If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax, surrounded by nature and full of authentic Thai charm, “Huai Mae Khamin Waterfall” is the perfect answer!
Hidden in the forest of Srinakarin Dam National Park, Kanchanaburi Province, this waterfall is known as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand. With clear water flowing through 7 natural rock layers, each layer has a unique and stylish name, such as Man Khamin, Chat Kaew, Lai Jon Long, and Rom Klao.
Not only is the waterfall picture-perfect, but it is also filled with peace and quiet. The sound of the waterfall soothes the heart. Take in the scent of nature and be amazed by the morning mist—it’s like being transported to another world.
Recommended activities:
Hike through the 7-level nature trail
Stay overnight in a bungalow or tent site amidst the cool, refreshing air
Take photos of the waterfall and forest without any distractions
Watch the flocks of butterflies that come out to welcome tourists in the late rainy season and early winter
Best time to visit:
October - April Clear water, good weather, beautiful fog, no rain
Getting there:
From Kanchanaburi city, drive for about 2-3 hours and you will find true nature. I recommend it.
