SINGAPORE LAH!!!

A basic itinerary but also a frequent return point for those who have been to Singapore.

❣️Gardens By The Bay:
🫶The Jurassic Park theme at Cloud Forest is definitely a must-see. The dinosaurs look super realistic, moving just like in the movies. Although the ticket price is a bit high now, if you choose to revisit, Cloud Forest is still the most worthwhile.

🫶Also, the little Floral Fantasy with a Disney theme is intriguing, so I decided to go again. It’s still beautiful but smaller and not enough souvenirs. Plus, the souvenir shop looks kind of fake, not as classy as the one at USS.

💞Changi Airport is still awesome and beloved, Jewel is still beautiful and chill even though the Mario event couldn’t be played, the card boxes on every floor were all out so I couldn’t get stamps to redeem gifts. There’s a new Nintendo Mario pop-up just opened, I expected it to be as cool as the Pokemon store but the products weren’t that captivating. There was a $200 watch that I loved, limited quantity to buy but I forgot to take a photo huhu.

🍽️Still enjoying familiar dishes like:
🎊Songfa’s Tea Ribs, this time eating right at Jewel but the quality is still as good as the Chinatown Point branch. Still a bit crowded and cramped though.
💯Malatang is not a perfect 10 but still good, this time eating Yang Guo Fu in Saigon, prices are a bit higher but here it’s smooth, the bean paste sauce is always delicious.
💥This time I tried the skewered hotpot at Bugis Junction, the restaurant is called Po Po Hot Pot. It’s tasty and unique, but the vegetable trays are expensive, herbivores picking a few trays can get a shocking bill. Skewers are $0.5 each. Vegetable trays or special dishes range from $5-8. Additional orders like hotpot meat or pre-grilled skewers are reasonably priced, but the hotpot meat is mostly fatty, no lean meat seen. The condiment bar is okay, with some basic desserts. The double hotpot was expected to be Mala spicy enough to make you cough, but even at max spice level, it didn’t burn the tongue 🤡😂 Oh, don’t order the $5.8 lemon tea on the menu, it’s rumored to be bad, better to order bottled drinks from the fridge.
🥲There’s also snail noodle soup nearby the skewered hotpot place. Forgot to take a photo, it was so delicious with no fishy taste, thinking about it makes me crave it again.

This time, preparing for National Day means many roadblocks for rehearsals, bus routes are confusing due to detours, MRT is a bit easier. 😝
