Huanglong, a World Natural Heritage 5A Park in Chengdu

In our Chengdu trip, we spent 8 days and visited 3 parks, but we liked this place the most. This place is “Huanglong” or another name is Yellow Dragon Valley. It is a natural world heritage site and is a 5A level tourist attraction, the highest level in China.
Let me tell you from the beginning of buying the tickets. We let the “Thai people travel to Chengdu” page book the tickets for us because we had children. There were no children’s tickets available on the app. Another thing is that we wanted to book an electric golf cart on top, which is limited to 5,000 people per day. We were afraid that if we went to buy them at the event, they would be full. And online bookings must be made through the Chinese website only.
Traveling We took the high-speed train at 6.45 from Chengdu and arrived at Huanglongjiuzhai Station at around 8.30. Then we took a bus to Huanglong, which took about 45 minutes. When we arrived, we left our bags first. There was no charge. Then we took our passports to exchange for tickets to enter the park. Then we walked to wait for the park’s green bus to go to the cable car entrance, which was about 1 kilometer away. The bus is free.
The cable car took no longer than 10 minutes. After getting off the cable car, we got on the electric golf cart that we had booked. Go up for about 10 more minutes. The route is very beautiful and very thrilling to drive.
The point where the golf cart stops is about 800 meters before reaching the highest point, which is a beautiful pool of water on top. It will be a staircase all the way. It is quite high here. Walking makes you tired easily. You should bring oxygen with you. For those who exercise regularly, it will be easier to walk and less tiring.
There is a shop selling instant noodles, sausages, snacks, and water at the top. It is enough to fill your stomach.
We went on 7/3/2025. There was a lot of snow. The only pool left was the one at the top. The rest was covered in snow. But it was very beautiful. The real view and atmosphere that you see with your own eyes is very beautiful. Looking far away, you can see white mountains overlapping each other.
