🌅 Sometimes, a weekend getaway is like a cup of coffee during work. Choosing where to go is like picking your favorite coffee beans based on your mood. Today, I had a cup of Gesha cold brew, which had a sweet aftertaste. It reminded me of the sunset I watched with my daughter at the T3 Tea Garden in Yingxi Karst Peak Forest. As the sun set, the silhouette of the peak forest was outlined, like a precious painting engraved in my heart 💕
⛰️ In Yingxi Peak Forest, we didn't go to the popular spots. We just strolled around leisurely. My daughter still remembers "Pao Fu," the new friend she made at Shanka Laka. The kapok flowers in front of the gate must be beautiful when they bloom in March.
⛰️ The name "Cloud Embrace" belongs to the room we stayed in. Surrounded by the karst landform mountains of Yingxi Peak Forest, it has a wide view. The versatile private hot spring in the room is a hot spring in winter and a small wading pool in summer. Soaking in the hot spring and looking at the "ink painting" in front of you is probably stealing half a day of leisure, allowing the soul to take a little rest.
⛰️ The infinity pool on the top floor of the beautiful hotel reflects the shadow of the peak forest, making it a bit unbearable to break the peaceful scenery.
🛝 The lobby is equipped with a children's play area. My daughter had a great time, and I enjoyed afternoon tea next to her 🫖
🔥 There is a bonfire party on the lawn, and the roasted sweet potatoes 🍠 are great! When we checked out, the staff also gave us sweet potatoes 🍠 from their own garden.
🏨 The lobby has all kinds of beautiful hats 👒 for everyone to take pictures with, which is really heartwarming 🥰
2-Day 1-Night Itinerary:
🚙 2 hours from Guangzhou
🏨 Check in to Yunqi Moye Resort
Remember to book early during the peak season and try to choose a room with a private hot spring for the beautiful scenery.
➡️ T3 Organic Tea Garden (7 minutes away from the hotel, free tickets are also given)
There are two ways to reach the top: 1️⃣ Hike, 30 minutes. The hillside is relatively steep, but you can walk and see the tea garden. There are viewing platforms in the middle to stop and rest. 2️⃣ Sightseeing car, a choice for those with children. One way 💰15, round trip 💰25. Remember to reserve time to watch the sunset.
➡️ Shanka Laka (requires tickets, but the owner also gives them to those who stay at the hotel). It is a small coffee shop in the mountains and forests. The two hospitable "little friends," Latte and Pao Fu, are impressive. There are also small duck boats available. When we were playing, "Pao Fu" jumped into the water and played with us, which made us start looking forward to playing in the water in the summer 💦
