Bruny Island – A Small Island Full of Memories

This trip was a fun getaway with colleagues. Our journey began in Hobart, the capital of Tasmania, and we drove to the port to board a large ferry that could carry over ten cars. The crossing to Bruny Island didn’t take long, but the excitement started as soon as the car wheels touched the ferry.

Upon arriving on the island, we drove along narrow roads winding through beautiful natural scenery. Our first destination was The Neck – the narrowest point of the island and a must-visit landmark. The view from the lookout above was breathtaking, offering a 360-degree panorama of the sea on both sides of the island. The sight was so stunning it left us speechless.

After that, we checked into our accommodation for a relaxing evening, recharging for the next day.

The next morning, we headed to Cape Bruny Lighthouse, located at the southernmost tip of the island. The drive was a bit winding and longer, but it was absolutely worth it. The view at the lighthouse was expansive, offering the scent of the sea, the historic charm of the lighthouse, and a serene atmosphere that’s hard to find elsewhere.

On the third day, we returned to Hobart with hearts full of joy and unforgettable memories.

In summary:
Bruny Island is a trip not to be missed. If you ever get the chance, make sure to visit at least once in your life. The natural beauty here is truly remarkable, from the sea and forests to the viewpoints and overall atmosphere – it’s delightful in every way.
