Taihu Lakefront Wetland Park

April 18th, Friday, the spring scenery was glorious. I took subway line 5 to the terminal station, Taihu Xiangshan Station, and exited from Exit 1. I walked along Xuxiang Road for about one kilometer to Huan Taihu Road, and arrived at Taihu Wetland Park.

I strolled along the wooden boardwalk by the lake, where reeds swayed gently and the lake water rippled. I took a boat tour, feeling the breeze and watching the water birds dance. The cedar trees by the lake stood tall and straight, and the woods were quiet and serene. I visited here many years ago, and it feels like nothing much has changed, except there were very few visitors. I wonder if it's because it's a working day.
