Wuling Forest Recreation Area is located in Heping District, Taichung City, and is part of the Xueshan Mountains. The Qijiawan River (the habitat of the national treasure fish Cherry Landlocked Salmon) in the area is the upper reaches of the Dajia River. The river terrace on its west bank is vast, which is where the "Wuling Farm" is located.

Wuling Farm has its own unique beauty in each season, such as cherry blossom viewing, ginkgo viewing, and autumn scenery - maple leaves and pine forests turning red. When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the whole farm is shrouded in a pink romantic atmosphere, and it is packed with people and cars. In addition to admiring the flowers, you can also take a walk along the Taoshan Trail and visit the majestic "Smoke Waterfall" where water smoke curls and surges.

It is difficult to find a place to stay in spring when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. We registered online in advance for a wooden pallet site in the camping area, which added some wild fun!
