Taichung Orange Hotel - A Hidden Gem in Beitun District

While many people are talking about the rising costs of domestic travel 💲, I recently stayed at a hotel that exceeded my expectations in both quality and affordability. Located in Taichung's Beitun District, the Orange Hotel offered a two-person room for less than 1500 TWD during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday—a truly budget-friendly option!
I originally needed to stay overnight in Beitun District for some errands and booked this hotel. Judging by the photos online, it seemed a bit outdated, so I went with low expectations. To my surprise, it turned out to be a hidden gem!
Upon entering the room, I was greeted by a refreshingly cool air conditioning system and a comfortable large bed 🛏️. One of the best parts of staying in a hotel is lounging on the bed and watching TV 📺, so having a spacious bed was a big plus! The bathroom was also well-designed with separate wet and dry areas, and the bathtub 🛁 was decently sized. The room also featured a large desk, slippers, and bottled water. Considering the government's environmental policies, I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel still provided these amenities.
Another bonus was the availability of a water dispenser in the lobby for guests to refill their bottles, along with free coffee ☕️. The breakfast selection was quite varied, and the dining environment was comfortable. You can see from the photos I’ve attached that this is definitely a hotel I would revisit 👍👍👍!
