The Shigu Cultural and Creative Park, formerly the Rende Sugar Refinery in Tainan, was founded in 1911. In January 2007, the Shigu Percussion Band moved into the Rende Sugar Refinery, and the Shigu Cultural and Creative Park was developed.
In addition to offering family drumming experiences, the park also features performances and a variety of extreme rides. For example, there's a transparent adult extreme slide, repurposed from a sugar factory chimney. This innovative ride exudes a retro, nostalgic, and mysterious atmosphere.
The park also features clever touches like a stone bird-shaped sink, a vintage train, a cafe, and numerous stylish stone chairs.
