Incense smoke fills the air: a moment of quiet contemplation at Longshan Temple in Monga

#Taipei Itinerary
As you step into the Longshan Temple in Mengjia, the rich scent of sandalwood hits your nose, accompanied by the sincere whispers of the worshippers, instantly bringing you into a solemn and peaceful world. This temple, which has a history of nearly 300 years, seems to be a silent epic, witnessing the changes and prosperity of Taipei. The temple architecture is ingenious, and the roofs and stone pillars carved with dragons and painted with phoenixes speak of the exquisiteness of traditional craftsmanship. In the pond in front of the temple, koi fish swim leisurely, and the rippling water adds a sense of tranquility. I light the lotus lamp, silently recite my wishes, and feel the peace of mind for that moment. Inside the temple, believers devoutly offered incense and prayed for fortune sticks. The magnificent golden statue of Guanyin looks at all living beings with compassion and peace. I stopped and listened, and it seemed that even the wind was carrying a message of protection, gently blowing through my heart. Longshan Temple is not only a place for prayer, but also a place where people can feel the beauty of the interweaving of culture and faith. Amid the smoke of incense, I found a moment of peace of mind and a deep respect for ancient Taipei.
