Hotel Stay at Regent Taipei

I stayed in a suite. I was surprised that Japanese was spoken fluently everywhere in the hotel.

I also stayed at the nearby Nikko and Okura, but personally I liked the Regent the best. There was live music playing in the hotel lounge, and the pool was open so I enjoyed it.

There were massage parlours and stylish shops scattered along the side streets, not on the main road.

It's within walking distance of Zhongshan Station, but it was so hot that I mostly took taxis.
