This time, I stayed just one night in Takayama, Gifu Prefecture.
This guesthouse is a renovated 100-year-old traditional Japanese house. It has a nostalgic, grandma-like atmosphere.
It's been a while since I've seen an irori hearth. 😀
It's located in a quiet area a little way from the city. Most of the signs inside the building are in English!

I made friends with some foreigners, and the next day we ate at the morning market. The atmosphere was wonderful, and it's a wonderful memory.
