Tunisia: Tamaghza Oasis and Canyon, famous for its waterfalls

Tamaghza Oasis is located in the Atlas Mountains of Tozeur, Tunisia. It is a mountain oasis and one of the largest mountain oases in Tunisia. Mountain oases are usually located at the foot of mountains or along mountain foothills, nourished by water sources in the mountains. Tamaghza Oasis is famous for its waterfalls hidden in the desert cliffs. Although the waterfall is not particularly impressive in person, it is still a rare sight in the desert.
Tamaghza Canyon is located within Tamaghza Oasis. Without a driver to guide you, you might miss it. When I entered the canyon, it was around 3 or 4 pm, and the lighting was perfect. This was the most stunning attraction in Tozeur for me. It is said to be the filming location for "The English Patient."
